Isabel Stenzel Byrnes is one of the featured stars of the documentary film of THE POWER OF TWO filming in Washington, DC. She is a featured author, social worker, health educator, patient advocate and public speaker. Working for more than a decade with organizations such as the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University, Isabel has supported patients of all ages and their families.
Isabel shared with us their Washington, DC film tour projects and the significance of the following individuals in their documentary film: Dr. Bob Bell of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Dr. Francis Collins of National Institutes of Health Dr. Kenneth Moritsuegu of Johnson & Johnson and Dr. Clive Callendar of Howard University Transplant Center. And of course, the Happy Hour at Churchkey Bar & Restaurant was a fun and an exciting Celebration for the completion of the filming!
Isabel can play the Scottish Bag Pipes and shared with our national audience how she became passionate about starting to play an intriguing but complicated Scottish instrument. She performed The Star Spangle Banner on the Bag Pipes for the U.S. Transplant Games in Madison, Wisconsin.
